Now the dream has become a reality in the form of Village Arts, offering Kindermusik, art exploration, mommy and me yoga -- and who knows what else we'll come up with!
We firmly believe in the power of integrated arts, so every class offers your child the opportunity to create, explore and move. Starting with newborns in Kindermusik Foundations all the way through age 7, there is a place for your child at Village Arts.
Meet Our Staff
Director and Kindermusik Teacher
Rosalind Smith Cross has been reaching children and their families through music and movement since 1993. She did her graduate work in Piano Pedagogy at USC and studied and performed at Interlochen Center for the Arts. In addition to singing, dancing and playing in Kindermusik, Ms. Cross teaches piano and voice, works with medically fragile and developmentally delayed children, and speaks to parent and educators on the joys and benefits of music and movement.
Young at Art Teachers
Stacy Stewart is a pianist, violinist, music educator and mom to Ella, age 3. She is delighted to bring her knowledge of music and education to our Village, along with her compassionate, fun and loving personality!
Nicole Kamb became interested in creating and painting at a very early age and received her BA in art education from Lander University.
Nicole is a fine artist with a passion for teaching children. She was inspired to pursue process art with little ones when her daughter came home from an art class, distraught that she could not color in the lines. Nicole is passionate about creating art, and instilling confidence in our young budding artists and is full of wonderful ideas for your child to explore and experience!
